How will the ship that was stuck in the Suez Canal affect local consumers?

Joel Sutherland, managing director and professor of practice at the Supply Chain Management Institute at USD, has 30 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, including executive experience in ocean shipping, and is available for interviews to discuss this topic.

Community-police relations expert available to comment on Chauvin trial

Associate Professor of Sociology Cid Martinez has done extensive research on issues of police misconduct, community-police relations, issues related to race, and gun violence, and is the author of the book "The Neighborhood Has Its Own Rules: Latinos and African Americans in South Los Angeles." Martinez can provide expertise on the historical and sociological significance of Officer Derek Chauvin's trial. His book has been featured in The New York Times as a recommended author for understanding race in America. Martinez has also done extensive local and national media on the topic (recently in The Sacramento Bee and The Washington Post).

The Immaculata Catholic Church at USD will be hosting Easter Sunday mass outdoors and live-streamed. Assistant Vice President and Director of USD’s University Ministry Michael Lovette-Colyer is available to discuss this year’s Easter message and how Catholics are celebrating the Easter season.
