2025 Roy L. Brooks Distinguished Lecture Series
Join us for Professor Brooks’s talk, “Living Memoir: Roy L. Brooks,” where he will reflect on his life and the legacy of his scholarship. He will highlight key themes in his literary works that have shaped discussions of social justice, legal theory, and democratic theory. Drawing from his personal experiences—including growing up in a racially diverse middle-class neighborhood near Yale University—Professor Brooks will share how his innovative perspectives took shape. He will also discuss the influence of his interdisciplinary studies in law, philosophy, history, sociology, political science, and anthropology, as well as his time at Yale Law School. More information and to register here.
