LRC Building Access
If you have not used your ID card to get into the LRC after hours recently, please test it at the SALTO lock to ensure it works properly.
The LRC will be limited to law students only during the study period and finals: Tuesday, November 25, through Friday, December 12. Your physical campus ID card will be required to enter the LRC. The circulation and reference desks will be closed Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, for Thanksgiving. Contact the LRC Circulation Desk (lrccirc@sandiego.edu) with questions about SALTO access or service desk hours. If you can’t access the LRC outside of our service desk hours, please call Public Safety at (619) 260-7777.
Expect Heavy Traffic
On Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, USD will host the Rady Children’s Basketball Invitational, a large event expected to draw more than 5,000 guests. Students should anticipate heavy traffic at the main entrance and limited parking between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on both days. Tram service will operate on a special events route running from the West Structure to the Jenny Craig Pavilion, and due to traffic, trams will not be able to access Torero Way. Students may park anywhere on campus (except in ADA spaces and along red curbs) from Thanksgiving, November 27, through Sunday, December 30.

CalFresh Program
We recognize the importance of the CalFresh Program available to eligible, enrolled students and strongly encourage all to apply. CalFresh provides food resources in the form of an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, which works like a debit card. This program helps many graduate and professional students purchase groceries 12 months a year. Visit CalFresh at https://students.getcalfresh.org/ to start your application. If you have questions about eligibility or need assistance with your application, please contact a CalFresh representative. Approval is determined by CalFresh and the State of California. Please contact the USD School of Law Financial Aid Office at lawaid@sandiego.com to request a CalFresh letter to submit with your application as supporting documentation. It is also recommended to include a copy of the 25-26 FAFSA Submission Summary (The FAFSA Submission Summary summarizes the information you reported on your FAFSA form and includes your estimated eligibility for federal funding, and your Student Aid Index (SAI) received by email from the Department of Education - Federal Student Aid after submitting the FAFSA) along with the CalFresh application, and USD supporting letter.
