Cybercrime During the Holidays

 As consumers ramp up their online shopping ahead of the holidays, they need to be on alert for an increase in cyber scams. Michelle Moore, Director of the Graduate Cyber Security Operations & Leadership and professor of practice at USD, can speak about the increase in cybercrime during the holiday season and provide tips for people to protect their information.

Increasing Prices for San Diegans-- Inflation and the Cost of Living in California

Since the pandemic began, we have been paying more and more for everything from gasoline to food. But the increase in prices isn’t just because of inflation-- it is also because of surcharges that are now becoming more commonplace among businesses. Dan Roccato, clinical professor of finance, can speak about this topic, provide insight into why inflation is so high, and offer tips for families to stretch their dollar.

USD Tennis Player Honored

University of San Diego redshirt senior August Holmgren of USD’s men's tennis team has been slotted as the No.1  singles player in the nation according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). In October, the Denmark native became the first Torero in program history to advance to the ITA All-American championship match. He won the ITA Fall National Championship, defeating Stanford's Arthur Fery.
