Are the Oscars Still Relevant?

With the Oscars this Sunday, there has been a great deal of debate surrounding whether the awards show is still relevant. Carrie Tremble, Clinical Director of USD’s Tele-mental Health Training Clinic and professor of practice, can explain how making daylight saving time permanent can positively impact people's mental health.

New Research Outlines How Industries and Activists Use Different Tactics to Persuade Support on Ballot Measure

Andrea Godfrey Flynn, associate professor of marketing, co-authored new research in the Journal of Marketing focused on how industries and activists try to persuade the public at large to support their positions on prominent issues. The research found key differences in how voters respond to direct-to-public persuasion by industries and activists in these political battles. Andrea Godfrey Flynn is available to provide insight into this new research and how it can be impactful in the next election.
