With Rising Interest and Mortgage Rates -- What's Next for the Housing Market?

Newsom Vetoes Bill to Revive State and County Teams that Inquire into Child Deaths: How Will this Impact the Safety of CA Kids?

The Children’s Advocacy Institute (CAI) at the University of San Diego’s School of Law was a sponsor of the bill. The bill saw no opposition, no "no'' votes, and passed out of both the Senate and Assembly's Appropriations Committees prior to reaching the Governor's desk. A representative from CAI can discuss how the Governor's veto will impact efforts statewide to prevent future child deaths.
