With high borrowing costs and potential tariffs on various consumer goods, Dan Roccato, a clinical professor of finance, offers guidance to consumers on budgeting wisely and why it may be wise to make any big ticket purchases now, like appliances or cars.

In the world of next-day delivery and fast fashion, waste is ballooning faster than many places around the world can keep up. According to the United Nations, clothing production doubled between 2000 and 2015, creating large amounts of waste at the same time. The U.N. observes March 30 as the International Day of Zero Waste, a time to raise awareness about the issue. John Alejandro, director of sustainability at USD, can talk about some of the environmental issues caused by constant deliveries and cheap, fast fashion, and some practices consumers and businesses can adopt to cut down on waste.
