TOMORROW: USD School of Law and CETYS Universidad Sign Agreement for a New Educational Pathway for Mexican Law Students in the U.S.

On Wednesday, the University of San Diego's School of Law and CETYS Universidad in Mexico will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will create a pathway for Mexican law students at CETYS to earn a master's degree in law at USD -- while getting an opportunity to stay in San Diego while taking their classes. This partnership is important in building bridges between two legal systems in the U.S. and Mexico while growing a community of attorneys in our bi-national region. Students will also receive scholarships through this agreement which begins in the Fall. RSVP if you would like to attend.

Student Entrepreneurs from 15 Countries to Compete at USD’s Fowler Global Social Innovation Challenge

The University of San Diego will host the global finals of the 2026 Fowler Global Social Innovation Challenge (GSIC) on Saturday, May 2, 2026. The event brings together student entrepreneurs from 15 countries to pitch business models designed to address the world’s most pressing challenges. Two teams from the University of San Diego are competing in the event. The finals are at 3 p.m. Please RSVP to press@sandiego.edu if you would like to attend.

No. 15 San Diego Men's Tennis Picked to Host NCAA Tournament Regional

No. 15 San Diego men’s tennis was selected to host a regional for the 2026 NCAA Tournament, as revealed in Monday’s selection show. The WCC regular season and tournament champion Toreros are NCAA Tournament bound for the 21st time in program history and will face UC Santa Barbara in the first round on Friday, May 1 at 1 p.m. at Hogan Tennis Center. Also in the region are No. 21 UCLA and No. 30 Arizona State, playing at 10 a.m. Friday. The regional final will take place on Saturday, May 2 at noon.
