Dear Toreros, The fall semester is off to a great start! Annual traditions like the Mass of the Holy Spirit and Alcalá Bazaar brought Toreros together in community. Exciting progress is being made on Renaissance Plan campus projects, including the Knauss Center for Business Education. We began Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations and came together to support student research and ingenuity at the Fall Research Colloquium. Campus changemaking efforts were highlighted in the community with Professor Alberto Pulido receiving the Comunidad Award from the San Diego Padres. In less than a week, we’ll welcome families and alumni back to campus for homecoming. I wish you all the best and encourage you to visit our Onward USD website regularly for updated information on the university’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
