University of San Diego - President's Postcard

Dear Toreros,

Welcome to the fall semester! This past summer was full of excitement, with our community coming together in many unique ways. The annual Wine Classic raised more than $70,000 for scholarship funds that support underrepresented students at USD. The university participated in the annual San Diego Union-Tribune Festival of Books, with faculty representation from a variety of disciplines. We also witnessed exciting student research and connected with students in the community through outreach programs. USD’s commitment to sustainability was also evident in its STARS Gold rating from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education. For updated information on campus health and safety measures, please visit the Onward USD website.

It’s great to see you all back on campus and I’m looking forward to the year ahead!
