University of San Diego - President's Postcard

Dear Toreros,

The shortest month of the year has come and gone, and what an extraordinary few weeks it was at USD! Our campus community came together to celebrate the 30th anniversary of one of our most beautiful and beloved annual traditions, the All Faith Service. Thank you to all of you who participated in the memorable ceremony as we focus collectively on continuing to spread a message of peace at a time of such global unrest. Congratulations to the 12 recipients of the Center for Inclusion and Diversity Second Annual Diversity and Inclusion Impact Awards, who were honored for their sustained commitment to justice for historically marginalized communities. A part of The Horizon Project, the Impact Awards are a vital component of helping to build a more inclusive campus community. Your work is inspiring to us all. Speaking of inspiration, USD students came together at the Inaugural Student Sustainability Summit to discuss and brainstorm ways to make our university a more sustainable campus. Their work will help guide our Climate Action Plan. Thank you to all of you for your hard work — you are genuine Changemakers.
