I hope that you had a restful Spring Break and a joyous Easter. Lent is a time for our community to reflect on the season of rebirth and hope. Each spring, this time of renewal offers us a chance to appreciate our journey and embrace the growth that lies ahead.
Speaking of journeys, we are immensely proud of alumnus Matthew Dominick ’05, commander of NASA’s SpaceX Crew 8, who recently made a successful voyage to the International Space Station. What an honor it is to say we have a Torero in space!
We also recently celebrated the power of philanthropy at the 34th Scholarship Appreciation Luncheon, which brings together scholarship benefactors and student scholarship recipients in celebration of their unwavering commitment to a USD education. The luncheon is one of our most powerful examples of USD living its core value of advancing academic excellence.
Peace,
Jim
