The beginning of the new school year is always a uniquely special time here at USD as we welcome our newest Toreros with a large dose of radical hospitality. Thank you to the many members of our community for coming together to welcome the Class of 2028 and their families during this special season of events, programs and celebrations.
I also want to extend a warm welcome to our new and returning students joining us through our online programs or who are studying abroad. Whether you are completing your programs here in San Diego or around the world, I hope you feel the Torero spirit and know that USD is always your home.
Fall semester always brings with it a sense of excitement and new possibility as we embark on another year of growth and discovery. As we move forward, let us all work to support each other in respectful dialogue, explore topics with conviction and compassion, work for peace and lead with love.
