SidebarVolume 15, Number 34 Course Evaluations Are Open - Time to Submit Yours!
The window to share your feedback on your Spring 2026 courses is officially open! You have from now until Wednesday, April 29, 2026, to complete your anonymous evaluations. Your perspective is important as we work to improve our courses and teaching.
How to complete yours: 1. Log in to MySanDiego and navigate to the “My Academics” tab. 2. Click on the Course Evaluations icon. 3. On your CoursEval dashboard, simply click each course to start. (Alternatively, keep an eye out for the automated email links sent for each specific class.)
We truly appreciate the time you take to share your thoughts. Please note that your anonymity is protected—professors will not see any feedback or comments until after final grades are submitted.
Construction Notice: Camino San Diego & S12 Parking
This is a reminder of the prior communications sent by the University, and by the law school through Sidebar. On April 1, the university began the groundwork preparation affecting the S12 lot. This work is expected to continue through May 1, 2026, and has reduced parking availability in that area. Due to the impact on parking in the lot closest to the law school, we encourage you to plan ahead by allowing extra time for parking. Please contact the University's Parking Service with any questions or concerns (parking@sandiego.edu).

Campus Event Notice - April 24 A large campus concert is scheduled for Friday, April 24, please plan ahead for the following impacts near the Law School:
Road Closures: Torero Way will be closed beginning Thursday morning. Parking Impact: The north half of the Law Lot will close on Thursday, and the entire lot will be closed on Friday. ADA spaces will remain available. Sound Checks: Brief sound testing will occur between 12:00–2:00 p.m., with additional intermittent sound checks after 2:00 p.m. |

Tabling for the Class Gift
If you have donated more than $25 on the class gift, come pick up your philanthropy cord at our table on 4/21, 4/23, or 4/28 during the lunch hour in the Writs! If you need an alternative time for pick up, please contact amherrera@sandiego.edu.
You can also donate at our table and receive the cord the same day! | LRC Updates for Graduating 3Ls
Alternative Study Spaces Over the Summer: Construction in the law parking lot throughout Summer 2026 may cause noise in the LRC. Please see our Alternative Summer Study Spaces guide for information on other study spots on campus such as Copley Library and the Learning Commons. Please remember that construction will take place during daytime hours but current students and recent grads can continue accessing the LRC 24/7 with their USD ID card. The LRC reference librarians will be available to answer questions by email, phone, or chat during regular business hours.
Register for Access to Westlaw After Graduation; Continuing Access to Other Databases: Graduating law students will continue to have access to Westlaw for 6 months after graduation if they sign up for Grad Elite Plus. This program allows graduates to use Thomson Reuters products, including Westlaw, Practical Law and Practice Ready solutions for non-commercial research for up to 60 hours/month. Graduates can turn to these resources to gain understanding and build confidence in their research skills, but they cannot use them in situations where they are billing a client. In addition, graduates get access to job searching databases on Westlaw and TWEN for 1 hour/month.
Law graduates automatically receive 6 months of access to Lexis after graduation. Graduates conducting verifiable 501(c)(3) public interest work may also sign up for the Lexis ASPIRE Program, which will permit further limited access to Lexis Advance for an additional 6 months.
Graduating law students also automatically receive 6 months of access to Bloomberg Law and 18 months of access to CEB OnLaw Pro if they sign up for accounts before graduation. If you do not have a Bloomberg or CEB OnLaw Pro account, please contact the LRC Reference Desk.
For more information about graduate database access, please see the LRC’s webpage on Summer and Post-Graduation Use of Databases or contact the LRC Reference Desk at lrcrefer@sandiego.edu. |

If you have questions about eligibility or need assistance with your application, please contact a CalFresh representative. Approval is determined by CalFresh and the State of California. Please contact the USD School of Law Financial Aid Office at lawaid@sandiego.com to request a CalFresh letter to submit with your application as supporting documentation. It is also recommended to include a copy of the 25-26 FAFSA Submission Summary (The FAFSA Submission Summary summarizes the information you reported on your FAFSA form and includes your estimated eligibility for federal funding, and your Student Aid Index (SAI) received by email from the Department of Education - Federal Student Aid after submitting the FAFSA) along with the CalFresh application, and USD supporting letter.
